New apartment.

At any rate, I got a new apartment. :) I’m now back in Chattanooga after a long summer of Big Creek Missions.
I’m excited about a new school year.
Nervous about all of the changes.

Abbey and I woke up and started getting ready to go hang out with my dad.
After we got ready, we went to eat at Jenkins, got a hair cut, and went to the Dairy Barn, which was AWESOME, of course!
We left the DB, came home, said our goodbyes, and headed out.

Yesterday.
Immediately washed my car (inside and out) as soon as I woke up. :)
Afterwards, went into town and ate Taco Bell and gave some moneys to the bank.
I then tried calling community contacts for Big Creek. Immediate fail. Hahahaha, first call of the day, “I’m sorry, Alison, I’m no longer working there.” Yikes.

Today, I went to eat with Kevin, Ben, and Brian in Cleveland at Hibachi Express.
Afterwards we played ping pong.
I also had to tell them bye today, which was no fun, since i’m just now becoming a part of the “group.”

Toooooday.
Woke up at 10ish.
Immediately drove to dad’s, had leftover Ming Dynasty, bathed
Spent a couple of hours getting laundry done and packing for Big Creek
At 3, headed to TWC and played a little freezing volleyball, along with some ping pong of course.

Bunch of nothing.
So, I’m home from college. I’ve been playing volleyball and ping pong with friends a lot. Mainly all I’ve been doing is avoiding responsibility: haven’t unpacked all the way, have barely thought about packing for big creek, and am spiritually lagging behind big time. Anyhow. Concert last night was really fun. I love hanging out with my friends! It’s tons of fun....

God is teaching me a hard lesson right now. It’s been going on for about a semester, I suppose. He’s trying to teach me that life isn’t the future. Life isn’t about my career, or about going on the mission field when I’m older. Life isn’t about graduating college, nor filling out resumes. Life certainly isn’t about stress or worrying.
