OOOOkay. So today my dad woke me up at 9 for breakfast. Church is at 9:30. I’ve obviously overslept. Anyhow, he had fixed blueberry pancakes, bacon, and coffee. :) Delicious. Then, I took my precious time getting ready for church since i was OBVIOUSLY late anyway ;).

I went to church in my favorite dress. It’s my new dress, the one that i got for Easter. I absolutely adore it. I was sitting beside Rhonda, but Emerson, my Mamaw’s husband, told me to go sit by her. I presume it was because I’m leaving Friday for the summer. I also found out that tonight they had a send off for all of the summer missionaries. Nobody told me until that morning. :( Sad.

After church, i went to my friend Leanne Curtis’ wedding shower. I can’t believe I’m missing the wedding. Breaks my heart. :( :( Buttt what can you do? Anyway. She looked gorgeous and from what I saw got a ton of good gifts. Also, I got to hold my niece Scarlett for the first time in a while today. She’s too adorable.

After, I headed straight to get gas and then to the Smokies stadium in Knoxville. Thanks to VZ Nav, I didn’t have trouble getting there at all. Met up with Debbie and Mike, waited in line for freakin’ ever, and plopped down on our blankets waiting for the show to start.

Oh No Fiasco did awesome! :) I’m so proud to be Lindsey Stamey’s first cousin! Hahaha, it was a great show. They’re really good. Check them out! http://www.myspace.com/ohnofiasco Then Shontelle- not impressed. Then Owl City- pretty freaking impressed. Owl City did an acoustic set, which surprised me. However, i loved it. And the lead singer is hilarious. I know because of his tweets (www.twitter.com/owlcity), and how he acted on stage. Afterwards was We The Kings. Lead singer was kind of obnoxious. Then Train. I heard Meet Virginia and a few other songs that I know. Unfortunately, not “Hey, Soul Sister.”

I left early. I was thankful, because i was FREEZING and tired. I had a really good time. My aunt is an incredible person, and so is my uncle. I had a real good time with them. I headed home, made it safely, and am now interneting it up :).

I posted pictures on my facebook of the concert. www.facebook.com/alisonw25.
