Trying to figure out why there aren’t different color fonts on Tumblr, and how to be creative and make this interesting as we go along. Hmm. Okay. I’ll work with same bland text.
TODAY. Was a good day.
I woke up at 11 to a text from mom asking me if I wanted to meet her at Ming Dynasty.
My response: Yesssssss. Of course. Ming Dynasty is where it’s at, y’all.
Afterwards, we went to Wal-Mart, Belk, and Goodwill. She bought me some things for Big Creek. Including, but not limited to:
- clear hair bands (for my new braiding fetish),
- v-neck shirts (
which may become tie-dyed at some point this summer), - eyeshadow!!!, my FIRST thing of eyeshadow. can you buh leave it? i’m twenty. (which reminds me of a SNL skit by molly shannon. iiii”mm fiffttehhh). I put eyeshadow on the other day for the first time in my life and LOVED it! :) So, mommy bought me some.
- Some ballin’ running shorts.
- Cute shirts :)
I’m pretty pumped. I love getting new things. I’m, unfortunately, increasingly materialistic. I don’t want to be. But I am. I like getting things. I like gifts. Which reminds me…
My twentieth birthday is in 12 days! Whooooo.
But more importantly, my core group leader Megan McIlvaine (twitter.com/megmcilvaine) is leaving for CO in 3 days!! And me and Abbey Brown (twitter.com/abbeybrown19) are leaving for Big Creek in 4 days. Whaaa! Shut the front door. But seriously, kids. ONLY FOUR DAYYSSSSSSSSSSSSSSss!!!!!!
